VITA FEDERALE

Dear President Buonfiglio, my dear friend Luciano

I would like to thank on behalf of the ICF you and your Federation as well as the Italian NOC and all those who helped to make our congress a success. These were unforgettable days for all of us under very difficult circumstances. This Congress made history and hopefully set the right course with the election of the Board for a successful future.

I am sure that we will achieve this together and congratulate you on your outstanding election result. I know how difficult it was for you to make it possible for representatives from more than 80 countries to gather in Rome. It proved it was the best decision to bring this Congress to your country. And it was also a dignified farewell for our President Jose Perurena - Where he was elected 13 years ago, where he was appointed Honorary President, and where he was visibly happy with how well the Congress went. You did a good job with your team and I would like to thank you personally and also on behalf of all the participants.

Thomas
